SIMS - BU is a bench-top unit that uses contact shot, coil shot, and central conductor magnetization to detect defects in any direction. It incorporates heavy-duty head and tail stocks for testing both small and large parts. It uses thyristor technology to manage an endlessly variable step-less magnetizing current. It can be utilized for strong surface indication in AC mode and surface a n d s u b s u r f a c e indication in HWDC mode.
