SIMS - MU is a mobile type MPI Unit with a versatile design capable of providing endlessly variable step-less magnetizing current regulation via thyristor technology. It generates both AC and HWDC currents. This can be used for both Prod and Cable Wrap procedures that require remote control operation. Push-button demagnetization facility. The SIMS-MU rolls easily on the heavy duty casters. It is particularly beneficial for larger work items that cannot be transported to MPI equipment. It can be used for non-fluorescent and fluorescent examinations using both dry and wet procedures.
